In September, Missio was present as young people from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland gathered for the Nordic Youth Days 2025 in the Swedish city of Skara. Over 400 young participants spent the weekend praying, celebrating Mass, and deepening their faith together. The event also included games, social activities, and a wide variety of workshops.

Anna Sandberg from Missio Nordica Sweden led two workshops on the theme “We Are All Missionaries of Christ – and There Are Those Who Can Help Us along the Way.” She explained that Christ calls all baptized Christians to become His missionaries and to evangelize, emphasizing that one does not need to travel to distant lands to participate in Christ’s mission.

Drawing on examples from four young saints—Pauline Jaricot, Thérèse of the Child Jesus, Pier Giorgio Frassati, and Carlo Acutis—Anna showed that supporting the mission can take many forms: through prayer, donations, small acts of kindness, and by sharing Christ’s message online.

At the end of each workshop, which together had around 80 participants, everyone prayed parts of the Mission Rosary for the Church’s missionaries, for peace in war-torn and conflict-affected regions, and that the Lord’s Gospel may reach every corner of the world. Each participant also received a Mission Rosary as a gift to continue praying for the Church’s mission.
